We're Done!- April

It's a bittersweet moment when taking your last exam in the program. I was sad I was not able to spend my last couple of months in New Orleans with my classmates and friends due to this ongoing virus. I am glad to be back home and spend time with my family and able to have them around ALL the time. I am also so thankful that I have a pool in backyard where me and my dog Ying get to spend hours tanning and swimming.

School has been difficult in regards to concentration because all my family is working or taking classes at home so we are all fighting for the best internet connection or sometime yelling at each other for malfunctions or even just coming to bother us when they are bored or on break. We manage to make our own little offices in each room so no one is bother by the background noise. Fortunately my house has a lot of echo so even if the door is closed from your "office" you can still hear everyone talking or the phone ringing.

These past couple of months have been crazy just being back in Miami and stuck at home 24/7. I can't wait but also so sad that I will have to go back to NOLA not for fun but to move my stuff out of my apartment and then come straight home so my family can watch me virtually graduate. I am excited to see what's to come in the future and next steps I will take to go to medical school. As well as finish training Ying and turning him in February 2021 so he can become an assistance dog to someone in need. Thank you to the Pharmacology Department for all your help and being there in the ups and downs. I will miss all of you and keep in contact. For the new incoming pharmacology class, if you have any questions about the program feel free to reach out to me!

PS. Ying got his celebratory Kong and Peanut Butter for finishing the program
